Our NEW Summer Reading program, for children entering first grade through those entering sixth grade, meets once a week for six weeks, pairing volunteers with children for one-on-one shared reading.
Volunteers listen and encourage kids to read, which promotes the love of reading while increasing literacy skills.
Kids get help completing their summer assignments and gain reading confidence.
Six sessions: July 9-August 13
Mondays, 10:15am-12:00pm
Two sessions each week: 10:15-11:00am and 11:15am-12:00pm
Kids who develop their reading skills during the summer feel more confident and are motivated to succeed as they start the new school year! Registration is required and space is limited.
It is recommended children participate for all six sessions. Drop-ins are accepted when space is available on a first come, first served basis. Registered patrons need to arrive no later than five minutes before the session starts to keep their reservation.

Volunteers are Needed!
We are looking for adults and teens over 16, who are interested in helping children with their reading
during this six week program. One training session is required on either June 25 or July 2 from 11am-12pm.
