Get the children ready for a cultural experience where they can learn about the beautiful meaning and practices of the Kwanzaa season. Participants will explore the history of Kwanzaa, and learn the Seven Principles (Nguzo Saba) and the Seven Symbols through storytelling, singing and drumming. Each participant will create a craft using Kwanzaa themes. This workshop is led by Clyde D. Herring, a Mount Vernon artist. For all ages.
