Celebrate Black History Month at the Mount Vernon Public Library

Working with collage, we will explore the work of artist Romare Bearden (1911 – 1988), as well as the art of contemporary African American collage artists Nickalene Thomas, Wangechi Mutu, Tawney Chatmon, and quilter Yvonne Wells.
