Easy Reading Collection

The Easy Reading collection contains materials primarily for adult literacy seekers and adult English learners as well as tutors working with these populations. The purpose of the Easy Reading Collection is to provide materials for adults with low reading levels and tutors who are working with adult beginning readers or persons learning English as a second language. Periodically young adults with disabilities or reading difficulties use the collection.  The collection consists of  books, cd audiobooks, kits with CDs, Audiobooks, and Books, and DVDs.  In addition, there are some GED and citizenship books.

    The Fresco in the Exhibition Room (Rotunda) were executed by the local artist Louise Brann. They were inspired by the 15th century Gobelin Tapestry series "Lady and the Unicorn" that resides in the Cluny museum. The four panels created between January 1936 and October 1937 include "Autumn","Education","Occupation","Winter", "Spring", and "Summer".
