Limited Browsing in Adult and Children’s Library

Adult patrons using the Adult Circulation area must enter the building on 1st Avenue side of the building. Adult patrons with children must enter the building on 2nd Avenue side of the building to access the Children’s room.

  • Everyone entering the building must wear masks.
  • Anyone entering into the building must follow signage rule that they are not allowed in the building if they have a cough, fever, or shortness of breath.
  • Library access to Limited Browsing Only.
  • Visits will be 30 minutes per day
  • Continue curbside pick-up for high-risk individuals.
  • No Computer Service.
  • No Copier, Printing or Faxing
  • Water fountains and bathrooms will not be being accessible to public for safety reasons.
  • Adult and children programs held in spaces where people can sit- 6-feet apart and limit number of participants. No food will be served at events.

Adult Library total patron capacity at any given time is 25:

A security guard will be patrolling the adult floor while patrons are present to ensure that safe distance and guidelines are maintained.  Likewise there will be a guard who is present and patrolling the children’s room when patrons are present to maintain distance and library guidelines. Absolutely no loitering/sitting allowed during this reopening phase (elderly who can’t stand for long periods can be provided a chair if needed)
