March 19, 2026 @ 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm – Come to the library to work on your crochet project. The group meets every Thursday between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. in the Fiction Room. Beginners are welcome. Light refreshments are served.

March 19, 2026 @ 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm – Meet with other teens to discuss teen programs at the Mount Vernon Public Library. Earn community service hours. Meet new people. Develop teen programs at the library. Recommend books, films, and music for the collection.
March 20, 2026 @ 10:00 am – 7:00 pm – The Children’s Department is getting some new friends. Watch as seven chicks grow! Beginning Thursday, March 19th, you can visit the Children’s Department to see our chicken hatchlings that are getting ready to head back to the farm .
March 20, 2026 @ 10:30 am – 12:00 pm – An unstructured program where children play with an assortment of toys as they learn to socialize. Adults interact with their kids and also network with other parents and caregivers. For all ages.
March 20, 2026 @ 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm – Adult Citizenship Naturalization Preparation Class with Mr. Ben Anthony, BIA/DOJ Accredited Representative, BFPA Immigration Legal Services will teach skills needed for the US Citizenship Test, including reading, writing and civics.
