Unstructured free play with Legos provided by the library. This program encourages children to embrace their creative side and imagination with Lego’s. They make their own designs and embark on a unique adventure with stories they create. Lego Adventures builds cooperation and teamwork in a fun and constructive manner.Please check the Children’s Room monthly calendar for schedule changes.
Open to all ages, though anyone younger than 5 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult.

This book group for beginner readers meets once a week to share stories chosen by a librarian. Designed to improve reading skills and promote the love of reading, kids and librarians take turns reading aloud. After the reading, enjoy a snack while we talk about the books.

Adult Citizenship Naturalization Preparation Class with Mr. Ben Anthony, BIA/DOJ Accredited Representative, BFPA Immigration Legal Services will teach skills needed for the US Citizenship Test, including reading, writing and civics.
Preparation and representation forms are available.
Free legal advice in any immigration matter.

Chess 4 Kids

For several years, our chess instructor, John Gallagher, has taught our children the basics of chess, beginning strategies, and advanced strategies for more experienced players at our library. You will need a chess board and chess pieces to play. Open to players of all levels.
